Sales Coordinator - China

 

NuNano is a UK-based nanotechnology start-up, specialising in atomic force microscopy (AFM) probes. We are passionate about creating high-quality products and providing the best possible customer service for researchers and engineers at the cutting edge of nanoscale science and technology.

We’re currently recruiting a fluent Chinese speaker into our sales team, so if you’re enthusiastic, motivated and well-organised, with a curiosity for science and technology, then we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, at the forefront of the latest nanoscale characterisation challenges. As a sales coordinator for China you will be responsible for contacting cold leads and existing customers in China, building customer relationships and ultimately closing sales.

Your Role

As a Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for securing new customers and enhancing relationships with existing customers throughout China. You will provide exemplary customer service to achieve your sales targets.

In addition to direct sales activity, your connections to our customers and wider market insights will help inform future product development and sales strategies.

 

What You Need

  • Fluent in Chinese.

  • Enthusiasm and energy, with an entrepreneurial spark to grow your own customer base.

  • Previous sales or customer facing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

  • Degree in a relevant technical subject or business administration, or relevant work experience.

  • A desire to learn about new technologies, with a curiosity for the science behind them.

  • To be a self-starter, quick learner & well organised.

  • Ability to build rapport with customers, with clear and persuasive communication.

  • To build strong relationships within NuNano and be a team player.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

 

Rewards

  • £20,000 pro rata basic salary plus uncapped commission structure (your earnings potential is limited only by your ambition and motivation) - £27,000 OTE in first year.
